*Questlove joins award-winning guitarist/producer Eric Krasno on his special new podcast series.

Presented by Osiris Media, ERIC KRASNO PLUS ONE sees the renowned musician hosting a one-of-a-kind interview series exploring the lives and work of some of his closest friends and musical collaborators.

In episode 1 of Eric Krasno Plus One, Eric kicks off his wide-ranging, 12-part conversation with Questlove, who joins Eric from his home in upstate New York. They talk about the jam sessions at his house that became the epicenter of the Neo-Soul movement, the infamous Source awards show in ‘95 that led Questlove to D’Angelo, that time Jimmy Fallon disarmed The Roots, and what he thinks is on the other side of the COVID-19 crisis.

The episode ends with the track “Send It On” from the D’Angelo album Voodoo.

Ahmir Khalib Thompson aka “Questlove” hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was born January 20, 1971. He is a drummer, DJ, producer, culinary entrepreneur, designer, New York Times bestselling and James Beard Award-nominated author, and co-founder of Philadelphia’s most influential hip-hop group, the Roots. He is the musical director for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where the Roots serve as the house band, and a four-time Grammy Award-winning musician. He is also an adjunct professor at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

Upcoming Episodes of Plus One include part 2 of the conversation with Questlove, and future episodes feature with Phil Lesh, Ivan Neville and more. This podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify through the official Osiris website or wherever you get your podcasts.
