Celtics vs. Nets score: Live NBA playoff updates as Kevin Durant, Brooklyn go for 2-0 lead vs. Boston

Game 1 between the Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics was a tale of two halves as the Celtics won the first half by six points before the Nets found their groove on the offensive end and wound up winning the second half by 16 points to come away with a 104-93 victory at Barclays Center. The series continues Tuesday night with Jayson Tatum and Co. looking to even the series with Brooklyn. While there is still an entire half left to be played, things are not looking great for the Celtics at the moment as the Nets own a sizable lead after two quarters of play in Brooklyn.

Despite the double-digit win, the Nets’ offense looked out of sync for the majority of the first half against the Celtics in Game 1. Obviously, in the end, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden got rolling and Brooklyn came away with the win but if the Nets move deeper into the postseason, they will not want to be routinely digging themselves out of halftime deficits. For Boston, other players will need to step up to take some of the pressure off of Tatum on the offensive end so that the Nets’ defense can not key in on him whenever the Celtics have possession of the basketball.
