Pearl Jam blew away the cobwebs Wednesday night (June 24) for “All in WA,” a virtual benefit concert for workers and families affected by COVID-19 across Washington state.
The legendary Seattle rockers delivered their first-ever live performance of “Dance Of The Clairvoyants,” the post-punk-esque single lifted from their long-awaited 11th studio album Gigaton.
Eddie Vedder and Co. had planned an extensive tour in support of the album, kicking off on March 18. The health crisis ruined those best-laid plans.
For the all-star live-stream special, Pearl Jam were joined on stage with former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, whose Pluralone project was invited to open for the rockers on their now-postponed north America tour.
Gigaton, the followup to 2013’s Lightning Bolt, bowed at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart earlier in the year and led the Hard Rock Albums survey.
