Ruben Gallego Sends A Series Of Profane Tweets To Ted Cruz

In the wake of the Texas school shooting, Arizona Democrat U.S. Rep Ruben Gallego sent a series of profane tweets to Texas Republican Ted Cruz and the NRA.

Cruz told CNN:

Inevitably when there’s a murderer of this kind, you see politicians try to politicize it, you see Democrats and a lot of folks in the media whose immediate solution is to try to restrict the constitutional rights of law abiding citizens.

In response, Gallego tweeted:

F*** you @tedcruz you care about a fetus but you will let our children get slaughtered.

Referencing Cruz’s Cancun trip in 2021 amid a Texas storm and Texans going without power, Gallego also tweeted:

Just get your a** to Cancun. You are useless.

Gallego followed up with:

Just to be clear f—- you @tedcruz you f—- baby killer.

The former Marine and Iraq veteran also had a few choice words for the largest gun lobby. Gallego tweeted:

F*** you @NRA.

He also told California Rep. Darrell Issa:

F*** your prayers. They haven’t worked for the last 20 mass shootings how about passing laws that will stop these killings.

This was in response to Issa’s comments offering thoughts and prayers to the victims.

Destiny’s soldiers.

Fivio Foreign spreads love the Brooklyn way in his new video featuring Queen Naija and Coi Leray. The song’s hook borrows excerpts from Destiny’s Child’s 1999 hit, “Say My Name.”

Directed by Benny Boom, the clip finds the self-proclaimed King of New York partying in Brooklyn and getting hot in a Ram truck with a baddie. The clip also features scenes inspired by Destiny’s Child’s iconic music videos, “Say My Name”, “Survivor” and “Soldier”.

The collaboration is one of many off Fivio’s debut, B.I.B.L.E., which also includes Kanye, Alicia Keys, A$AP Rocky, DJ Khaled, Quavo, Polo G, Chloe, Ne-Yo, Lil Tjay, Lil Yachty, and more.

Steph Curry Set To Host This Year’s ESPY Awards

After winning his fourth NBA Championship, Steph Curry is switching things up a bit and hopping into his hosting bag. He has officially been announced as the host for this year’s ESPY Awards.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Steph’s new hosting duties will actually be his first time hosting a major live TV event. Aside from leading the night, which celebrates athletes throughout various sports, Steph is also nominated for three awards. He is up for Best Athlete in Men’s Sports, Best NBA Player, and Best Record-Breaking Performance, which is for his most 3-pointers in NBA history. The Golden State Warriors are also nominated for Best Team.

Steph shared his excitement and said,

“I’ve had the pleasure of attending The ESPYS but never imagined I’d have the privilege of hosting this special event. As someone who loves the intersection of sports and entertainment, I look forward to delivering an exciting show for the fans while we celebrate the athletes who created the top moments of the year.”

Steph’s hosting gig is just one of the many highlights that have been happening this year.

As previously reported, just last month, he earned his college degree from Davidson College 13 years after he entered the NBA. He was not able to attend his college graduation as he was preparing to compete in the Western Conference Finals. Eventually, his team the Golden State Warriors won the conference and competed against the Boston Celtics before winning the NBA Finals. Steph himself was also crowned Finals MVP.

The 2020 ESPYs are air live on July 20th on ABC.
