My name is YSL or The Four Eyes Black Asian lol. I was born in Japan and moved to the states when I was a kid. I spent the majority of my life in Philadelphia but moved to Virginia Beach a few years ago. Philly was rough to say the least, so music was my way of coping with my depression, anxiety, insecurities and my overall mental health. I can play the guitar, drums, violin, mandolin and piano but I mainly stick to playing my guitar nowadays. My music is mainly me describing my conversations with the voices in my head as I’m schizophrenic. It helps me stay grounded and as I’ve gotten older I’ve noticed I need anchors and music is perfect for that. Gaming is also another anchor for me and I’ve been a gamer since I was 3. I played cod semi competitively for a few years but now I play pc games like league of legends, Counter Strike Global Offensive, Valorant, Hearthstone and a bunch of other games for the most part. I also used to live stream on twitch.tv and plan on doing so again soon so long as my health improves. If you read all of this thank you, I hope my music is something you can enjoy.
